Paula is the founder and Director of Operations/President of Accident Resolution Group.

Paula is a Paralegal, P1 licensee who provides legal services that are permissible by the Paralegal Licensing granted by the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC).

She is an active member of the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC), Paralegal Society of Ontario (PSO), The Law Office Managers Association (TLOMA), and Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA).

As a graduate of Centennial College, she is a member of the advisory committee to the Law Clerk/Paralegal Program at the College. In addition, she is a past registered Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) Representative with Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).

She is a past recipient of the Crystal Award for Inspirational Woman, an award that honors women who have made outstanding achievements in specific fields and in doing so have contributed to their community, business, friends and/or family. Paula is a past recipient of Centennial College’s Alumnus of Distinction Award and nominee of the Colleges Ontario’s Premier’s Award for achievement in business

Paula is also dedicated to Autism fundraising and in 2008 was honoured as Rookie Team of the Year (Team CJ) and ranked among the Top 10 fundraisers for the Walk Now for Autism-Ontario(2008 and 2009). In 2010, Team CJ was Canada’s #1 fundraising team, winning the national top honour, the Crystal Award (Autism Speaks).

She has well over 15 years of Insurance experience and endless legal knowledge, allowing Accident Resolution Group to develop into an Executive Paralegal Firm that transcends its competitors.

Alison Raynard
Mediation Co-ordinator - Associate Paralegal

Alison is a Paralegal, P1 licensee who provides legal services that are permissible by the Paralegal Licensing granted by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Alison is an active member of the Paralegal Society of Ontario (PSO) and is a past Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) Representative with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO)

She has extensive appearances at Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and at Small Claims Court. To keep abreast with changes in the applicable regulations, Alison frequently attends conferences and seminars that address these changes. In 2006 Alison was an advisory participant to the Law Society of Upper Canada’s (LSUC) task force committee on Paralegal Regulation.

Alison's focus at Accident Resolution Group is in the co-ordination and attendance at all Accident Benefit claims for mediation at Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and Small Claims Court.

Laurel Benny
Associate Paralegal

Laurel is a Paralegal, P1 licensee who provides legal services that are permissible by the Paralegal Licensing granted by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Upon graduating from school in Trinidad and Tobago, Laurel secured a job as a Mathematics teacher in a secondary school. She migrated to Canada in 2001 and due to her immense interest in the law; she has since maintained a position within the legal industry. To keep abreast with changes in the applicable regulations, Laurel frequently attends conferences and seminars that address these changes.

Diagnora Kiss
Office Manager
Associate Paralegal

Diagnora is a Paralegal, P1 licensee who provides legal services that are permissible by the Paralegal Licensing granted by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

In 2000, Diagnora received her Law Clerk designation from the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO) and is an active member of the Paralegal Society of Ontario (PSO) . Diagnora is a past Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) Representative with Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).

Originating from Venezuela, Diagnora moved to Canada in 1996 and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Diagnora earned her Bachelor of Law from the University of Santa Maria, Caracas, Venezuela in 1992 and went onto complete a Masters in Maritime Law in 1996. She practiced law in Venezuela for several years prior to immigrating to Canada.

Waldrae Williams
Associate Paralegal

Susana Meza
Data Systems Manager

Susana holds a B.Sc. in System Engineering from Sacred Heart University in Lima, Peru and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Upon joining Accident Resolution Group in 2002, Susana has consistently demonstrated her keen enthusiasm for the legal profession and has become a vital member of our team. A Maestro of data management, Susana oversees all aspects of our extensive client management systems, ensuring that client records are handled with the utmost care.

Prior to joining Accident Resolution Group, Susana designed, developed and implemented payroll, HR, logistic and remote bank applications for one of the largest banks in Peru.

Cathleen Carrigan
Senior Paralegal

Cathleen is a Paralegal, P1 licensee who provides legal services that are permissible by the Paralegal Licensing granted by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

After retiring from a 19 year career in the Canadian Armed Forces, Cathleen attended TriOs College Paralegal Studies Program and graduatedwith honours in April 2010. She has obtained various certificates of achievement for Workplace Safety and Insurance Board workshops from the Ontario Federation of Labour through Mohawk College.

Cathleen manages files and represents injured workers before the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board Tribunal; obtaining compensation for entitlements provided under the Employment Standards Act and provides assistance in the filing and providing representation of Human Rights Tribunal matters; and provides representation in Small Claims Court matters.

She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Windsor Injured Worker’s Advocates Group, Injured Worker’s Action Committee and Transition 2 Betterness; also a recipient of The Canadian Forces Decoration.
Cathleen is a proud owner of two horses and a Black Lab, she is also active in the horse community on a recreational and competitive basis.

Nikolay Chapurny (Mikalai)
Associate Paralegal

Nikolay Chapurny is a Paralegal, P1 Licensee and provides legal services that are permissible by Paralegal Licensing granted by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Nikolay holds a Diploma in Court and Tribunal Agent Program with honours from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.

Nikolay earned his Law Degree from Yanka Kupala State University, Belarus in 1994 and upon obtaining his degree practiced as a lawyer in a variety of legal areas including tax law, criminal law, and real estate law.

Interested in expanding his professional and personal horizons by seeking new challenges in law, he moved to Canada in 2005. Nikolay is fluent in 4 languages including English, Russian, Byelorussian, and Polish.

As an Associate, Nikolay’s focus at Accident Resolution Group is in small claims court and various tribunal matters. Jagruti Patel
Associate Paralegal

Jagruti Patel is a Paralegal, P1 Licensee who provides legal services that are permissible by the Paralegal Licensing granted by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Jagruti earned her Bachelor of Law in 2002 from M.S. University of Baroda and went on to complete her Masters’ of Law in 2002 from University of Pune in India. She practiced law in India for several years prior to immigrating to Canada. She is fluent is English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, and Swahili languages.

Jagruti received her Court and Tribunal Agent Diploma and Immigration Consultant Certificate from Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning with Honours.

She is an active member of the PSO and has affiliation with the Osgoode Society for Canadian Legal History.

Carolina Salgado

Narcisa J. Salazar

Narcisa J. Salazar is a Law Clerk with Accident Resolution Law Group where she focuses on clients' intakes, interviews, schedules and various appointments as well as assisting the legal team.

Brings many years of legal experience in various areas of law, administrative and management. She holds a Paralegal Diploma from Westervelt College and is working on obtaining her P1 Licensee. Karen Brazeau
Associate Paralegal

Karen is a Paralegal, P1 Licensee who provides legal services with strong ethical values and integrity that are permissible by the Paralegal Licensing granted by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Originally from Timmins, Karen is fluent in the French and English language and earned her Paralegal Diploma with Honours from triOS College. She has obtained various certificates of completion for WSIB workshops administered by the Ontario Federation of Labour.

As an Associate Paralegal at Accident Resolution Group, her focus is on managing injured worker WSIB claims and representation before the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board Tribunal; obtaining compensation of entitlements provided under the Employment Standards Act and common law rights of employees who are wrongfully terminated; assistance in the filing of Human Rights Tribunal applications and representation during mediations and hearings before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario; and filing of claims and fair representation in Small Claims Court.
